Elephant Garlic: Milder in flavor than garlic, it is delicious roasted and used as a spread or added to sautéed dishes. The giant scapes are an added benefit as they are considered a highly prized gourmet treat. Elephant Garlic can be stored for up to 10 months if well cured after harvest. As mentioned in the garlic varieties section, elephant garlic is not technically garlic, it is considered to be a leek, but elephant garlic contains a lot of the same super nutrients contained within garlic cloves.
Shipping Terms: Currently we are only offering USPS Large and Medium flat rate shipping boxes. Large boxes have a maximum weight of 8 lbs of bagged garlic and the medium box can hold up to 4 lbs of bagged garlic. If you select the wrong shipping option for the amount of garlic you purchased you will be notified and we will correct it accordingly. If you would like to order more than 8lbs of garlic, you can fill out this form and we will contact you about wholesale orders.
